CBBC - A Rising Star
Evie Exton one of our youngest bowlers at CBBC won a gold medal in the triples at the '2018 Primary School Championships'. Evie and her partner entered the triples as a pair (a third player was not available at the time). Great effort Evie!
Evie started night bowls with her dad (Anthony Exton) in 2016. Anthony is currently a member at our club as are Evie's grandparents (George and Sylvia Exton). The history of Evie's relatives playing at CBBC goes back to her great-grandfather (Hugh Sweeney) who was a member from about 1987 to 2002. Hugh was one of the many Scottish members at the time.
